Week 06 - Memories

“Memories” is an image of the first road bridge in Saskatoon that stood for 106 years before being demolished in 2016.  When I made this image in 2015 the bridge had already been closed and was soon to become just a memory to the people in Saskatoon.   Perhaps more than anything to me this image is about how our memories fade and take on a different form – represented through the distorted image of the bridge in the water.
